Basketball Mercy Rule


As per National Federation guidelines the CAA has adopted the "Mercy Rule"

that was also adopted by the AIA

" At the start of the fourth quarter and anytime thereafter if one team takes a 30 point lead or more the clock will run except for a timeout, technical foul, or injury. Normal rules will resume during the final minute or when the score becomes tied."

   WINTER SPORTS:

J.H. Basketball
$40 per referee x 2
(This fee does not include assignor fee)

Varsity "A" Basketball
$50 per referee x 2
(This fee does not include assignor fee)

Varsity "B" Basketball
$45 per Referee X 2 
(This fee does not include assignor fee)

Molten is the official 
ball of the CAA
For volleyball, 
basketball and soccer.
The home team is required to provide a 
game ball. If the home team does not 
have a Molten game ball, then the visitor 
will provide the Molten game ball. 
Correction - If neither 
team can provide a Molten game ball, 
then the rule from the NFHS rule 
book regarding a game ball
will be put in effect.
